Dave Dubois became the fourth different winner in five events this year on the BRP CanAm Late Model Series. This was his career first on the series, making him the 27th winner in the history of the tour. There has been a total of 63 events since 2003.
Dubois took the lead from pole starter Mikey Wonderling on lap 2 and lead the remaining laps. Jeff Chesebro ran second from lap 5 until the checkered flag. Beamer Guzzardi was the $100 DART Hard Charger, starting 19th and finishing 5th. A rain delay forced time trials to be cancelled. Several cautions and a red flag “cool off” marred the event.
