BRP CanAm Event at McKean County Raceway Rained Out Again

E. Smethport, PA…Rain postponed the 4th Annual Brock Young Memorial for the BRP CanAm Late Models at McKean County Raceway – AGAIN!

The event originally planned for Saturday July 22 was rescheduled to Thursday July 27, but again Mother Nature over ruled when rain, thunder, and lightening rolled in from the wild – wild west. The new date is Saturday September 30.

“What have we done wrong? When the rain date is rained out you really have to wonder,” stated McKean County Raceway’s Ken Leet. “This is a very important event for the Young family, McKean County Raceway, and the BRP CanAm Series. The first date available is Saturday September 30. That date will make this event even more important since it will be Championship night for the BRP CanAm Series. We will have a great race program and a very big party. Details will follow.”

Now, the next BRP CanAm Series event will be Thursday August 10 at Canandaigua [NY] Speedway.

The 2006 BRP CanAm Series will visit Black Rock Speedway, Canandaigua Speedway, Cayuga County Fair Speedway, Genesee Speedway, McKean County Raceway, Merrittville Speedway, Ransomville Speedway, and Woodhull Raceway for 12 point events in 2006. The 2006 Series will conclude at Black Rock on Saturday October 7 with a $10,000 non-point affair.
