Record Purse Posted For BRP CanAm Racers At Merrittville St. Catharines, ONT…A record high purse for the BRP CanAm Super Stock Series has been posted by Merrittville Speedway management for their Thursday July 1 Canada Day Extravaganza. “We have added some extra dollars on top, but the real deal is the amount added throughout the entire 26 positions. The purse will be paid in US dollars since most of the BRP CanAm racers are US citizens. In addition to the $5285 purse we will pay any team that attempts, but fails, to qualify $50 tow money. We are all very excited to have those fast and beautiful BRP CanAm Super Stocks return. The demonstration [Dash For Cash] that those guys put on here in May really generated a lot of excitement,” reports Merrittville Speedway General Manager, Erika Bicknell.
