BRP CanAm Show at Freedom Raceway Fogged Out

Delevan, NY-The BRP CanAm Super Stock Series show at Freedom Raceway scheduled for Friday June 18 was fogged out. The pre-established rain date of Friday June 25 will be used for the first ever appearance of the Super Stock Series.

?Mother Nature just did not cooperate. It did not really rain, but a very heavy mist and dense fog rolled in just as we were preparing to open the pit gates at 4:00. We waited until 5:30 and it got worse. The Weather Channel radar did not show anything at all, the forecast had been good all day, and then this. I am just sick. I had the best track that I have had all season an now this. I took a lap around the track in a packer car at 5:15 and could not see more than 10 feet in any direction. I would not have been safe. We will do it all over again for you BRP CanAm guys. I am really sorry,? related track owner and operator Dan Hoffman.

Approximately 40 of the wild and wooly Super Stocks [360 dirt late models] are expected to tackle the 1/3 mile hill top facility for the second event of the twelve race 2004 BRP CanAm Super Stock Series.

The 26 car starting lineup for the 30 lap Friday night headline event will include both touring Series drivers and Freedom's Super Stock drivers who stick close to home for their racing activities.
