BRP CanAm Point Fund Grows to $18,000 St. Catharines, Ont…Recently signed product sponsors have pushed the 2004 BRP CanAm Super Stock Series point fund to $18,000. That is correct, $18,000 cash and product point fund for the 12 race Series! The January 31 release stated $12,000. Bob Mullen’s Pro Speed of Batavia, NY will award a pair of Pro Speed Super Stock Race Wheels to each of the top twelve point earners for the 2004 Series. The wheels are valued at $140 per pair. Bob Mullen’s Pro Speed provides trackside support for all stock car racing events at Genesee Speedway in Batavia. Hoosier Tire of Canada has contributed 16 Hoosier RC-1 race tires to the Series point fund. The tires are valued at approximately $1800. Hoosier Tire of Canada is the distributor of Hoosier Race Tires in New York State and Canada. Kendall Oil of Bradford, Pennsylvania has contributed 24 cases of Kendall GT-1 Racing Oil to the Series. In addition, Kendall Oil will sponsor the final race of the 2004 Series on September 25 at Little Valley Speedway. Lias Tire – Racing Division of Indiana, PA distributor of American Racer Tires has contributed 16 American Racer EC-1 racing tires to the point fund. The tires are valued at approximately $1800. The 2003 BRP CanAm Super Stock Series champion, Bob Dixon, rode on American Racer tires. The BRP CanAm Super Stock Series is designed to promote the extremely competitive Super Stock race teams that race weekly at Bradford [PA] Speedway, Freedom [NY] Raceway, Genesee [NY] Speedway, and McKean County [PA] Raceway.
