BRP CanAm Super Stock Racers Get $12,000+ Point Fund

St. Catharines, Ontario…”Twelve races with a twelve thousand dollar point fund for the top twelve point earners! That is where we are and we are not done yet!” exclaimed Bruce Thompson of the BRP CanAm Super Stock Series.

Thompson and associates continue working to increase the point fund to provide addition financial reward for the race teams that compete in the 2004 edition of the BRP CanAm Super Stock Series. Thompson adds, “Last year when we were seeking advertising partners to establish the point fund, we had neither data nor facts to share with our partners. Given last year’s very successful program and the expanded schedule that we now have in place for 2004, these businesses are very willing to work with us. The expanded twelve race schedule [previously eight] at nine [previously six] great race tracks provides a larger potential customer base for these businesses. That, plus our new website, guarantees exposure. Further, when Bicknell Racing Products signed on as the title advertising partner of the Series, other folks became believers in our program.”

An alphabetical list of the point fund sponsors to date includes: Atkinson’s Delivery Service of Port Colborne, Ont; the Beherns family of Churchville, NY in memory of Doug Beherns; Bicknell Racing Products of St. Catharines, Ont; Close Racing Supply of Eldred, PA; Competition Speed & Sport of Welland, Ont; Cool Edge Web Designs of Canandaigua, NY; Cousins Designs and Custom Graphics of Eldred, PA; Crabb Oil of Arcade, NY; DB Embroidery of Merlin, Ont; DSE1-Dale Stroud Engines of Caister Centre, Ont; Hoosier Racing Tires of Lakeville, IN; Kendall Oil of Bradford, PA; Layfield Racing Connection of Wellsville, NY; Lias–American Racer Tires of Indiana, PA; Bob Mullen’s Pro Speed of Batavia, NY; Signsational Signs of Warsaw, NY; TNT Motorsports of Fort Erie, Ont; and the Young family of Scio, NY in memory of Brock Young. In addition, each of the host tracks contributes to the Series point fund.
